On a Break

April 24th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

I will be out of town from April 25-30; back to work on May 1. I will most likely have limited email access while I am gone, so will attend to all calls or messages first thing next Tuesday.

Being Nanna

April 22nd, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

Here are a few pictures from this week at Stacey’s. Genevieve is FINALLY starting to look at my camera a little, and of course Gavin is a big ham. I enjoyed this visit a lot; they are really getting to be fun to watch. I put them both to bed on Wednesday while their parents were out, and it was such a treat to rock both of them in my lap while reading about 8 bedtime stories..and they went to bed without a fuss, which was great. The hard part is leaving, when Genevieve cries because I’m going home :(

Spring pictures

April 14th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

So we sort of had a little pressure to get this session done in April because Kate was getting braces, and her mom wanted one last family session before that happened…knowing how much these children are going to change! But it was cold & blustering on the day we chose, so that meant the cute little spring clothes just weren’t going to work. They were really VERY good sports about the whole shoot, and I was happy with these gorgeous images that I knew would go straight on the new website!

“Chicken in a biskit” casserole

April 10th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

I’m going to share a recipe for a casserole that even your kids will eat, and it’s guaranteed to make your life really easy on the day that you make it. I’ve made it for years; it’s just one of those dishes that tastes great on a cold day and is just really, really comforting without a lot of fuss! Get the stuff to make this the next time you are at the store, and you won’t be sorry.

Description:
Unbelievably tasty for being so easy!

Ingredients:
4-6 skinless chicken breasts, cooked & cubed
2 cans cream of chicken soup ( may use fat-free)
3/4 c. sour cream (may use fat free)
1 small pkg frozen mixed vegetables, thawed (may omit)
1 box "chicken in a biskit" crackers
1/2 c. melted butter/margarine

Directions:
Place the chicken in bottom of a baking dish. Mix soups
& sour cream and pour over chicken. Crush crackers ( not too
fine..better if a little chunky!) & sprinkle over all. Pour butter
over top. Bake 350 for 30 minutes; may have to cover with foil if
browning too much.

Preparation Time:10 min prep, 30 min baking time

Three Little Boys, oh my!

April 7th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

Introducing Evan (see post from March with the maternity session!), who after a little scare and a week in the NICU, came home happy & healthy to join his brothers in creating more of the chaos that comes with "three under three"!!! I am normally a photographer who specializes in color lifestyle images, but in the case of newborns I almost always prefer black & white, and this session was no exception. Here’s little Evan:

OK…One in color:

With his brothers:

And with his parents (check out how he is LOOKING at them!)

And you may be wondering….how in the world did we get those adorable mom & dad shots with two toddlers underfoot? How, Pam, HOW did you do that? Ummm….
