adorable

June 30th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

This is the second time that I have been asked to photograph these adorable little girls…the first time was a newborn session for the youngest. Wow, have they all grown and become such beauties! These images make me want to just scoop them up and kiss those little cheeks; there is just something about little girls with big blue eyes and bouncing curls. What I really love is the way their ages & personalities come through – look at the adorable toothless six year old with the scrape on her elbow, the wide eyed four year old, and how the toddler has her trusty blankie. I sure hope I can be around to photograph their weddings, lol!

mingo park

I’ve been thinking about where I want to do sessions when I come to PA, since I won’t have my usual home studio setup once the house is sold. I’ve always wanted to test out Mingo Park because of the gorgeous covered bridges, and I knew Faith’s kids would be the perfect subjects! They are very comfortable in front of the camera and are good at taking direction as far as positioning, etc which is crucial on bright sunny days. I have a little trouble keeping the twins straight in real life, but when I edit their photos I can see the differences right away. I think I’m gonna like this place…look at how easy Alexa, Olivia, and Jared make it look!

Amanda & her parents came from Ohio just to have her Senior pictures done before her Senior year of high school…in India! She will spend the whole year there, and will be leaving in July. What an adventure! Good luck, Amanda – have fun and stay safe! Can’t wait to hear all about it!

I did the shoot for this gorgeous girl right before we left for vacation and told her & her mom that I wouldn’t be able to work on them until we got back. Well, I couldn’t help myself; I knew they were going to be fantastic! So I left the packing until the last minute & proofed her session instead so that we could all see the slideshow! Did I mention how much I love doing Seniors?

While we were on vacation, I snapped these images of Jim & Allison, then couldn’t resist one of just Ally…her eyes are incredible.

The Time Has Come

June 10th, 2007 , Posted in Uncategorized

Most of you know that we own property in South Carolina and have been planning for some time to relocate there. We have been waiting for the girls to get out on their own and for the right job to become available for Jim. Well, both of those things have happened…Jim has accepted a job in Seneca at an Urgent Care facility and will be starting around the middle of September…so this is it, we are actually moving! Our plan is to (hopefully) sell our house with an end-of-October closing date so that I will have time to stay here & handle the  Fall/Christmas rush for my clients before I join him. I fully intend to be available for my clients here in PA about every 6-8 weeks, as I will be traveling here often to visit family & friends, and I will do sessions either at my client’s homes or at a park instead of my home. It will just take a little more planning to get on the schedule, but I hope to continue to have the opportunity to photograph your wonderful families just as I always have!
I will be resigning from my Cath Lab job as of July 4th, in order to have more time to be able to fit everyone in who wants a session before I leave and in time for the Holidays. Please call as soon as you get a chance to reserve your spot!
