We went with Allison and Josh to Table Rock yesterday to hike. The only only problem was that we hadn’t been there before and didn’t realize the scope of the hike, so we only went about halfway up before we realized we didn’t have enough time to comfortably finish. It was just beautiful in the winter, rushing mountain streams and waterfalls partially frozen. It was a little chilly when we started but by the time we were climbing hard we were sweating. The path is very well done with lots of steps, which made it easier, but wow! I’m talking hundreds of steps! We will definately go back when we have more time and are better prepared. Here are a few photos of them from yesterday and from last week at our family get-together.

A beautiful fall day +  a gorgeous, happy bride + a cool handsome groom = a perfect wedding day! I have known Allison since she was a little girl, and I KNEW she would be a beautiful bride. What I didn’t know is that I would be lucky enough to capture it! Take a look:

I have been photographing this family for quite awhile, documenting milestones and family sessions.  Their three little girls were always so adorable, and so when Hallie called me to schedule a fall session, I was really excited because I knew that all of the girls were now old enough to do some really creative posing. I was really surprised and actually  laughed out loud when she told me that this session was also going to be a newborn session! Just as their youngest, Anna, was about to enter preschool, Hallie found out that she was unexpectedly expecting…and it was a boy! Needless to say, everyone is thrilled with their newest addition. The girls are just crazy about him and love having a little brother, and I, too, am just smitten with this little guy!

These girls are so cute and cuddly that I wanted to take them home with me! I photographed Sydni a few years ago, and this time I got to meet her little sister Baylee. They did such a good job letting me photograph them, and I had so many good ones to pick from that I could fill up my Blog…but here’s just a few (I’m restraining myself!)

Gorgeous Fall weather…beautiful leaves and scenery…family time cozied up in the warm house after dinner…and Christmas just around the corner! A few from the Labor Day weekend wedding that Jason and I did at Bella Sera. Since the wedding AND reception were both held there, I was a little concerned that we would have trouble providing variety in the pictures. Not to worry! With a beautiful, stunning bride like Kelly, the setting is really insignificant…her images just shine! (Todd didn’t do too badly, either!)

The last time I did a session for this family I captured some images of these adorable little boys with Mommy…so this time I really wanted to get some with Dad. It was so easy! Something about fathers and sons – all it takes is a quick swoop up into Dad’s arms and they dissolve into giggles!

You’re Gonna Miss This

The music brings out the words like nothing else can…just another reason my home is covered with my children’s photographs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Our friends from Pittsburgh were visiting last week, and I took advantage of the opportunity to do Stephen’s senior pictures while they were here. I haven’t gotten to really edit his session, but I did pull a few out to show on the blog…tee hee, I’ll bet no one else in Peters Township has senior photos quite like these!
